View+Point offers Windows-based event management for HP NonStop server systems and other connected technologies. It is designed to offer a familiar upgrade path to anyone moving away from the older Tandem Viewpoint™ product, which now faces an uncertain future. Insiders’ View+Point offers a powerful suite of user configurable, event management facilities.
EMS events are automatically picked up by the primary window in the standard DSM filtered way. View+Point maintains the Information/Action/Critical model used by Viewpoint™, but ensures that Critical events cannot be lost by reserving a non-roll delete window at the top of the screen. Selected events can be marked for detail examination by any element of the EMS token set. These fields can also be used as the “key” for an event search for similar events (e.g. those with the same subject).
View+Point is fully integrated with the Service Object Management facilities of the parent Reflex 80:20™ application, but can be used as a stand alone console, with plug and play installation.
