RTLX REACTOR Transaction Analyser - Ad-Hoc Query Screen
Users can build their own ad-hoc database queries which will execute against the stored TLF / PTLF data. This facility will prevent users from having to create a formal report in an ODBC compliant reporting tool or HP NonStop ENFORM, and could be useful in an application support function.
The query can consist of one or more columns in a database table (all TLF / PTLF record fields available for selection) coupled with a nominated time period. The results are displayed in a list and can be exported to an EXCEL spreadsheet if required. The query can be saved for a later submission.
In this example the query is to list POS transactions between two timestamps with values specified for Override Flag, Amount1 and TKeyRetailer.
RTLX Transaction Analyser - Full HP NonStop (Tandem) EMS event message querying
RTLX Reactor enables lean extraction clients to be deployed to the HP NonStop platform(s) for the relay of EMS (Event Management Subsystem) events to a nominated Windows Server. These EMS events can be filtered and extracted from any alternate collector(s).
The example screen shot below shows a query on a VISA interchange / switch process (1 of 8) in the early hours of the morning to investigate activity that resulted in a 10% drop in the overall transaction throughput across the working day.
It is difficult to discern a 'maintained' drop in transaction processing where the chart displays a consistent level of POS processing. Set an RTLX rule on the interchange XPNET EMS events AND also a threshold on the transaction throughput volumes and problems can be spotted instantly by bringing 2 subsystems together; EMS and PTLF / TLF.
